I am seeing a lot of listings on the North Shore selling quickly and in many cases, over asking price! “The good ones go”, a fellow realtor said to me today and he is right. Pricing your property in line with the market is more important than ever. Maybe realtors can be useful after all.

Have you heard about Ecosia – the green search engine?
I was watching Ted Talks this morning (Tim Jackson) and learned about Ecosia. Ecosia is a green search engine which donates at least 80% of its advertising revenue to a rainforest protection program run by the WWF. Use it and save the rain forest!

OPEN HOUSE ACTIVITY PICKING UP ON THE NORTH SHORE
At our office meeting on Monday agents were reporting visits of over 30 groups in some North Shore homes at their weekend open houses! Could be great news for our market. With Bank of Canada’s announcement that over night rates are holding strong and lots of inventory to choose from this could be a perfect time to move into the market or to upsize or downsize! I would not recommend it to be a good |”speculative” time to purchase but for long holds, this is a perfect time.
